So I have a little bit of a question. I have an Editing and Publishing class, and for the class, I decided to make a website with literary articles on fan fiction. An awesome idea since I figured fan fiction just isn't written about enough, but the amount of articles I wanted to put up won't be possible (since I can't write that fast). Though I plan to maintain the site after the class is over, I don't think the teacher will be satisfied with just a "sorry, I'll finish it later".
Since the project is mostly about publishing rather than getting my own work out, I was wandering if I could set up a fest, exept instead of fan fiction, people would be writing about fan fiction. For example, you could write about common memes that pop up, explore the fan fiction of yesteryear, the queer theory of slash, etc.
The other thing is that the articles would have to be beta'd and referenced (links to quoted fanfic, and stuff like that).
Do you guys think that people would want to rant and rave intelligently about their favorite passion of fan fiction? Do you think other people would help mod, or that there would be even any responses?
